You descend into the hull of the vessel and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface, observing underwater gardens, coral reefs and colorful fish through large, clear glass windows.The trip lasts 1:30 hours. Glassboat
Glassboat is situated on Welshback in Bristol’s historic floating harbour. Our tables look out to the water through large, restored wooden windows, with views around the harbourside and to the city. On the lower deck original oak panels and portholes create a unique atmosphere for private dining.
The whole boat is available to hire for exclusive use, and we cater for weddings, business functions and all types of special occasion. The restaurant opened 30 years ago, having been pulled from the muddy river Severn and restored as a labour of love in the early 1980s. Since then we’ve built a reputation for wonderful food served in one of Bristol’s prettiest locations. Come and join us.
